High Blood Pressure

A persistently high blood pressure is a risk factor for developing cardiovascular disease (heart attack/stroke), as well as kidney problems. Dr Little will provide a comprehensive assessment of your blood pressure using blood tests, urine analysis, ambulatory blood pressure monitors and echocardiography. He will work with you to develop a lifestyle plan aimed at lowering your blood pressure. Additionally, medications to optimise blood pressure, will be considered.

Chest pain may be a sign of underlying narrowing (atherosclerosis) affecting your coronary arteries. Dr Little will assess your symptoms and cardiac risk before determining the appropriate management strategy. Investigations may include electrocardiograms (ECG), Echocardiography, CT Coronary Angiography, Exercise/stress testing and invasive coronary angiography. He is an expert at managing coronary artery disease and highly skilled at performing interventional coronary angioplasty procedures (coronary stenting) if required.
